AMATYC Annual Conferences: 2015 – 2023
AMATYC hosts an annual conference each year, the cornerstone of professional development for faculty in the first two years of college. Sessions provide exposure to cutting-edge topics, contemporary pedagogical techniques, and new technologies. Attendees find lifelong friends, connections to other engaged teachers, and a warm welcome from colleagues at these annual events.
Conferences began in Chicago in 1975 and have been held annually. For details on the early years see the AMATYC histories (see previous history errata here).
Effective 10/23/2023, the adjunct and retiree discounted conference registrations were institutionalized. These discount rates had been in trial for several years.
