Project ACCCESS
AMATYC Project ACCCESS (Advancing Community College Careers: Education, Scholarship, and Service) is a mentoring and professional development initiative for new faculty primarily teaching the first two years of college mathematics. The project’s goal is to provide experiences that will help these new faculty become more effective teachers and active members of the broader mathematical community. Project ACCCESS was created by a grant from EXXON in collaboration with the Mathematical Association of America (MAA). The grant was developed by Mary Robinson and Sadie Bragg (see previous errata here).
Each year up to 30 faculty are admitted into the two-year program. They are required to attend an AMATYC conference the first year where they go to sessions designed for them. They must develop and report on a project at the following year’s conference. Follow this link for full details on Project ACCCESS.
More details about each cohort can be found at the following links.

Errata: In the AMATYC History 2000-2014 it was erroneously mentioned that the work was undertaken by the wrong pair of people. The grant was written by Mary Robinson and Sadie Bragg.
